Hey all,
Can anyone help me out and tell me the proper way to give a new chick liquid through a dropper. I read that a chick could aspirate if given wrong. Do you put a drop at the front or the side of its beak? Thank you.

I have done it both ways - but try putting the drop on the side toward the front since that is a "larger" area for a chick's beak. One drop at a time, go very slow - watch your chick, you will see if they swallow, let them rest/breath in between drops.

Now for questions:D How old is your chick and what's wrong?

For tiny chicks - place a drop along the side toward the front (red arrow)

What Wyorp Rock said. Slowly is the key.

Some chicks will peck water drops hanging off the end of the syringe, and quit when they have had enough.
