Adopt a pekin after a loss

Your going to do great...Keep them separate for a few days in a look no touch setting or introduce while free ranging and they will become buddies...Fighting or neck tying will be normal...Chest bumping and usual Drake things...If you get a Hen?...He will breed her pants off at first....:lau....She will QUACK her head off....Normal.....

Hired a removal company to get rid of the raccoon... redoing the coop... getting a bigger pool

Yeah we just upgraded our babies pool to a 6 ft snap up. Kind of back fired because our drake just stands on the side and drains the water lol. We thought giving them more space and deeper water would encourage more swimming and diving but they don't seem to care lol. Maybe need to go bigger.

Extra protection this time for sure. Can never be too safe. and make sure not to leave any metal scraps laying around und after the rebuild. Learned that one the hard way.
