Adopt-An-Egg Hatch Along!

Welcome to my Adopt-An-Egg HAL! There are 14 developing eggs in my incubator. Adopting an egg means that it will be yours to root for. Although, I don’t generally let others name my chicks (just because I’m picky about names), so, unfortunately, you will not be able to name these chicks.

The majority of these eggs are 14 days old, and a few are 13 days old, but they will all be going into lockdown at the same time and everything.

This egg is a cross between one of my Polish hens (not sure which) X Gus, our Moss Egger rooster. This will most likely be his last baby ever. The chick should look similar to the pullet in my pfp, as she’s of the same cross.

Update!

Below are pictures of all the chicks that hatched, except for three. Those three that aren’t pictured are currently dealing with leg problems, and I have them all “casted” up to help, so I wasn’t able to take them outside to take pictures of them. Hopefully I can get them all fixed up! If anyone has any name suggestions, I would love to hear them! Sweet, gender-neutral names are preferred.

Well, it has been a long while, so….

Update time!

We re-homed Dandelion and Orca a while back because both were boys, and those were the only boys in the whole group (besides my Polish, which are all three boys).

I’ll post then-now pictures to be able to see all the changes that came with age! This is only an update for the 5 pullets, because I haven’t gotten recent pictures of all three Tolbunt Polish boys, but I can post what I have.

I candled all the eggs, and all except for egg #1p are alive and getting ready to externally pip!
