Adopt Battery Girls!!!!

I bought four hens a few weeks ago and noticed that two of them were debeaked after I got home. I don't think I would have bought them if I knew they were debeaked. I am glad I have them now but I feel sorry that they are deformed. They both are sweet and don't have a pecking problem that would cause them to be debeaked in the first place.

Thats horrible, it is very cruel! I don't see why you would need too, with proper space and a bit of time I'm sure pecking isn't really much of a problem, I can't understand it, if they didn't keep hens in such small cages together they wouldn't need to deform them. Its pretty sad but i am glad that now you have them they will be happy chooks :)
