I didn't know this - but Petfinder shows listings all over the country of pets up for adoption at shelters and such. They also list CHICKENS! No kidding. I was shocked. Thought I'd post that here in case anyone would like to see if there is a chickie in need they could give a home to. I'm not affiliated, I just think it is a great idea.
Here's their site:
Just put in your zip code on the left, and type chicken in the breed box. You can even filter for hens or roos.
