I recently adopted 7 geese. Please forgive my spelling of the breeds. Emden and Pilgrim.

I do not know the ages (long crazy story).

They have not had healthy treats in their lives. And I would like to start giving treats.

I have given them Fugi apples (no seeds) along with red leaf lettuce, with a few blue berries thrown in.

Is there a list someplace I can download and print out to take shopping????

Have heard 2 different stories on blueberries. Not sure what is the truth. So to be safe I cut them in half.

I am giving them an all flock feed and access to grit if they choose. Cracked corn with wheat as a treat to lure them back into their house for the night.

Have tons other questions!!!!

I know there are a few threads here on BYC that discuss treats for geese so you might just do a search for that.

Mine really are fond of:
Romaine Lettuce
Green Leaf Lettuce
Watermelon (especially the rind after I have cut up a melon)
Black Oil Sunflower Seeds (BOSS)
Corn on the Cob

The graze all the time so they treat themselves to favorite grasses and weeds like dandilions.
