Hello,
I am Sara. I live in a small town called Piru in beautiful California. I visited a friend who owns hundreds of chickens and I saw one that was attacked by other chickens, sadly, the poor chicken is in tight situation. Her eye balls look white and bulky. The owners place a whole bunch of baby chicks in the same space and the chicks are picking the chicken's eyes as often as they can reach. I ask the owners to let me have the blind chicken and they agreed. I am about to build the blind chicken a coop and I plan to take her to the vet. Any suggestions as to what to do to keep her alive. Or would she even survive the injuries? I would appreciate all the advise I can get from all of you. I am a novice as chicken parent.
Love,
Sara
