Adopting from the humane society!

A humane society just posted these two and is looking for a home for them. We have the room so I'm planning to adopt them. Can anyone help identify what breed they are? I only have Rhode island reds and silkies.

Sorry I can’t help with what breeds they are, but they look so sweet! And almost like they are posing for the picture. I hope they fit right in with your other chickens.

That's cool I didn't know they did that for chickens! Guess with chickens becoming a fad for some you are bound to have that happen now

Are any of your current birds male? How will you be housing them? Very important info as if resources not correct, you taking them not good.

Also, QUARANTINE. Look into how to do a proper quarantine, and do it. You have no idea what they could bring into your flock, and it would be heartbreaking to lose all your existing birds if these are carrying something nasty with them.
