I posted a thread earlier relating to this, but U just brought home two young chickens from my grandparents house to treat for mites. When I’m done treating them I get to keep them so I was wondering about the gender. I am almost certain both are hens, but upon further inspection, I knoticed one had a pea comb and on a regular? Plus the one with the regular has a long hooked beak. I am pretty sure they are the same breed, (I am not certain on the breed either, so that would be helpful) but was wondering if the regular comb vs. pea comb meant roo? Not sure, but I bet you could guys can answer my gender/breed questions! Thanks so much!

Silver laced Wyandottes

Plus, a quick question. Since they are new chickens, I as m pretty sure they aren’t laying yet, but can you tell buy the pics? Because I would like to know whether or not to feed calcium.
Don’t, they look between 14-17 weeks, not laying. Don’t start until you get your first egg.
