ADOR1 Automatic Coop Door?

I'm installing mine in a few weeks. I read great things about it and there was a waiting list when I bought mine. I'll post again afterwards. Thanks.

I have two. One has been in for 9 months and the other has been in for a little over 6 months. Not a hesitation out of them. My chickens love them and my sleep loves them!

I emailed [email protected] with this question back in March but haven't received a reply yet, I tried again today, but in case I don't get a response:

Does anyone know the size of the hex nut used to bolt the motor housing onto the door frame? I need to buy a nut driver to get in there to shim it out (it's opening slower and slower every day, even with a fresh battery) but I don't want to have to buy a whole set of drivers.

Thanks!

Anyone?

i just finished the coop and installed the ador opener and it works to perfection.
install was as simple as cutting a hole for it and putting in the screws.
its direct drive and moves slow so no heads cut off.
no ropes or belts to mess up.
6 volt lantern battery lasts for about a year so they say.
its a vertical lift that installs from the outside or inside.
within 5 mins of my coop door closing, my 100 watt barn light comes on so it would appear
that the photo sensor is really accurate. also the 100 watt metal halide barn light
is lighting just about the entire back yard but yet does not cause the coop door to open
as i was afraid it would.

i dont think it gets any better than this door.
