A couple of the NN are showing pink combs and there’s a WTB that’s comb is becoming pretty pronounced. When I take pictures this week I will update my guesses on gender.

Hubby has been helping with the coop so hopefully I’ll be getting them out of the house this week.

All the chickens are getting so big! I've been scrambling to get the coop finished so that I can get them out of the pack-n-plays. I feel terrible with how cramped they are.

I've been surprised at the size of the Lakenvelders. Even though their adult weight is suppose to be 1/2 of the Columbian Rocks, they aren't much smaller than the CR's right now. They are very pretty birds.

The Naked Necks are growing out with some pretty patterns. They and the CR are keeping pace on their growth, though their feathers are very soft.

The CR and NN are probably my fav atm, because they are terrified of me. I can put my hand down in the brooder and after a moment they will come and investigate.

The Dark Cornish are starting to put on weight, their legs are getting thick.

The Whiting True Blues, I have mixed feelings about them. The moment the brooder top is taken out 3 will jump up on the edge and I have to spend a lot of time getting them back into the brooder every time I change their food and water. That whole brooder still panics horribly every time I remove the lid. Two are very obviously cockerels now.

I am really hoping to get some pictures this evening.

Week 4 update. I apologize for missing week 3.

Finally was able to get the chicks out to the coop.

The Dark Cornish and the Egyptian Fayoumi.

EF first. Pretty sure he is a cockerel and a big butt head. He's been pecking feathers off of other chicks and will fly at them. I hope he is less aggressive now that he's in the coop and everyone has more space. His working name is Salt&Pepper.

No idea on Cockerels or Pullets yet for the Dark Cornish. One has a bit more comb development compared to the rest. All are unnamed still.

The Whiting True Blues

These guys have gotten some personality and definitely did not like being stuck in the brooder. Some of their feathers are in rough shape thanks to the Fayoumi.

White with Red leakage? Cockerel - Wheat

Brown spots are dirt. Splash Pullet - Baguette

All white Pullet - Bagel

Black Splash - Pullet Brioche

Blue - Cockerel Rye

Blue Pullet - Pumperknickle

Black with red leakage - Cockerel Pita

Unsure of pattern and color at this time Pullet Brownie

Brown pattern? - Pullet - Sprout

Blue Splash - Pullet - Soda

I'm thinking the slow feathering ones are cockerels, and the fast are pullets when looking at the combs. No name ideas yet.
