yes, welsummers chicks have chipmunk stripes, if your rooster was pure for the Extended black e allele, which makes him all black as chick with cream underbellu(blue with cream underbelly is blue gene) if he was pure, then no chimpmunk striped chick should have been hatched

Ok thank you have you seen the picture on my profile would tis help you determin what the chicks will look like as adults?

Sorry I made a mistake he is red ,black I don't know why I put black blue!? Haha

Here he is:

1000

What if he/she is a girl?
(Welsummer cross yeh)

What about the others ? Thank a lot

Quote:
he is a Black breasted Red with Mahogany(as rectrictor of breast) or heterozygous for columbian restrictor Co/co+, he is not Araucana, as I said probably a EE mix of some sort, and you are right, the chick could be a female too

Agree your rooster is an Easter egger. In addition to what nicalandia said, your black chicks with white spots on their heads are sex link males. Black chicks with solid dark heads are sex link females--both these would be from the barred Rock hen.

Your Welsummer cross chicks are probably going to look a lot like Welsummers, coloring wise.
