Nicky, what did you do this one with? Parts of it look kind of glittery.

Prismacolor markers and glitter and metallic gel pens.
Here's a side view so you can see the full glitter effect.

Beautiful butterflies Cynthia!

Where do you all find gel pens? We don't have much in the way of places to shop around here...maybe I should just get some through Amazon.

Found mine at a store Called Costco..not sure if these stores are country wide? Anyway, haven't seen them since Christmas..got them for Christmas from my hubby. :)

Now, I want the art pencils. My daughter showed me some that she's been doing. Wow! Pencils are expensive, not just those Walmart colored pencils..art pencils. They draw real soft. Maybe that's what some of you are using? I love them, she let me try it on the one that I'm working on with markers. It's turning out pretty so far. Won't be too much longer I guess..I've just been working on it here and there.

I know their caliber is not on par - but Dollar Tree has several adult coloring books (just a few pages) for just a $. If someone wants to try them and see if they like it or have the patience- it's a good place to start. They also had markers, or crayons - not sure, whatever you color them with.

Diva! We saw some of those books! I was so surprised. They were really nice! I couldn't believe the different ones they had..a nice different selection.

They don't..the paper is thick. I have gel pens, and makers for now. Looking to get those pencils when I can afford them. I know some use crayons.

Amazon seems to have a zillion different gel pens...anyone care to recommend a specific brand?

Drumstick diva, sometimes my markers do soak through the paper so I just put something under the picture I'm working on.
