It always feels refreshing when you move them outside!

So true!

I have one baby out! One has a small hole and it’s bill is poking out and it’s chirping... but it’s been like that for over 12 hours now... I’m not sure what to do.

Still nothing on the other 2. I hope I don’t have a lonely baby

Very exciting. When you say it's been "like that" do you mean the hole has stayed the exact same size? Or that it first pipped 12 hours ago?

Hmm. I don't know how it is with ducks, but this reminds me of the little one that I helped to hatch in my last incubation. I don't want to give too much advice, because I am a total rookie when it comes to assisted hatching, so I'm sending you this link which I found helpful.

I have never hatched ducks, but my chicks seem to take about 16 hours from external pip to zip. If it's taking longer than that, I typically take a peek at the membrane from the air cell. Peeking some back and applying ointment or coconut oil to keep it moist. Not sure about ducks though.

Can anyone tell me if this is IB or what? Thanks. I have 2 more that are late hatching. I may have to assist when I get home. Had one malpositioned that pipped wrong end and suffocated.

Don't know about your peachick, except to say it looks adorable.

Checked on my chicks in the outdoor brooder this morning. 50 degrees and as soon as I put out their food, they shot out from the EcoGlow and were running around the brooder like it was nothing. I can't imagine having them under a heat lamp 24/7 at 90 degrees.
