Thanks, funny you are the second person to tell me that so far, and it's always good to be prepared.

I am a brand new chickie mommy too. My 3 pullets, 1 Ameraucana (more likely an Easter Egger) and 2 Barred Plymouth Rocks, just turned a week old today. I took them outside for the first time today and let them play for about 15 minutes. They seemed to really enjoy themselves, and at one point one of them even ran around chasing a flying bug.

I mean to tell you that was a sight worth seeing!

Best of luck with your new little ones!

I have son on the spectrum also. The school people think maybe it is Aspergers but my friend who has 2 boys with it thinks it is some sort of PDD. I have an appointment for further testing. My son really, really loves our chickens and ducks. He cuddles them everyday.

Chicken crazed moma and suebee... Did you ever hear of the short story about the couple that planned a vacation to Italy~ but ended up in Holland??? I have a very special son affected with a genetic issue called Neurofibromatosis, Getting Chickens has been such a positive experience. Although he calls them his chicken nuggets,

he has shown and interest and compassion that warms my heart. Holland is GREAT
