That sounds really devastating. Maybe it was a young toy breed puppy? whether it was a duck eating the dog or the dog eating the duck, it's so heartbreaking

Like @KaleIAm said, they grow fast. Get as many duckling snuggles in as you can before they lose their fuzziness..it socializes them really well too Not that big duck snuggles aren't good too, it's just something about the warm little fuzz ball snuggles that are THE BEST

Well... Maybe not a muscovy, but male Pekin. (I always thought the muscovy was the largest duck breed)

I think my male Muscovy would take on my German Shepherd during mating season if it thought it was competition for the females.
