Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I'm not sure per gram, you would get lots more help if you post your question in the feeding and watering your flock section of the forum. Here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/12/feeding-amp-watering-your-flock

Wishing you the best of luck I'm sure the experts will be able to help over in the feed section.

I believe it is much better to use a nutritionally complete feed for your birds, the type dependent on age and purpose of breed ( laying, meat birds, etc). If that is all you feed your birds, I would expect it is lacking in many areas. Yorkshire Coop has given you a very good link to follow.

Glad you have joined us. Do you have access to complete poultry feed there? Nutritional needs of chickens is a complex formula and if you want your flock to be healthy and productive they need much more than bread and sunflower seeds.

Please do check out the link Yorkshire coop gave you. If you don't have access to commercial feeds, then someone in that forum may be able to help you make your own with the resources available.

Good luck with your flock.

I followed the link but i am not still satistfied.I want to know a feed ratio for already laying birds.Commercial feeds are becoming very expensive with the local resources such as the breadcrumbs, sunflower seeds, vitamins bought from agrovets and adequate water how should I feed them the ratio of each or if there is something i can add that you see am lucking
