The reason I asked is I've been considering rehoming one, possibly two, of my ducks. The one is particularly quacky, and although my neighbors have not complained, I feel bad about the noise. The other one is her hatchmate, not nearly so loud and I would normally keep her, but I'd feel better about rehoming the loud one if they went together.I'm in north central Ohio. I'm so glad you decided to separate them and get the girl some sisters. It would be just too sad to send her away alone.Thank you for your insight and your comments about veganism! Like you said -- I don't judge others in any way. I know what these birds are for (in many cases). But certain choices are off the table for me. I won't rehome the drakes -- I really adore them and, like you said, I can't control what others might do with them.
I do have the space and the money to separate her, buy her some adult sisters, etc. So that is what I will likely do.
It's been so good to hear from you and others -- your experiences have been helpful. Thank you!
I'm in situation like yours. Four boys and two girls, but I don't have the space to do what you're doing.
Just to note - if you plan to keep two separate flocks that's fine, but the boys cant have any contact with the girls, not even to see them. You cant sometimes mingle them, cant just run a fence between them - they cant understand/wont learn that you're not going to give them access to the girls, so if they see them they'll likely fight for them.

Long-winded way of saying I have 2 girls about 5 months old if you've decided to keep your lone girl and need some friends for her. I live in central Ohio, near Newark.
They are Anconas. The loud one is the blue one in the back. What kind of ducks are they?
