Chicken math is real so get a bigger coop than you think you will need

What ronott1 said. And my recommendation is to avoid pre fab coops. They are almost always poorly made, inadequate to the needs of the chicken or the flock owner. And I have yet to see a pre fab that is not grossly misrepresented re: how many chickens it will comfortably house. General recommendation is a minimum of 4 s.f. in coop and 10 s.f. in run per bird. Ronott1 is gonna need a bigger coop.
