advice on re-homing my male duck to a good home

Hi All - so I haven't found him a new home yet, have been too busy to try. I'd like to put him with people that understand poultry and know how much work a duck is. I posted him on my FB page but got several responses from people who have no idea where to put a duck or how to raise it, and thought that having a dog along with a duck was ok.

Should I not put an ad in the buy - sell- trade section on this forum? Or will he get eaten that way?

Put it in this forum but specify that he is for pet only.
