Advice on the Age and Gender of my two new birds

Hi, I am re-posting these pictures again and hoping for some confirmation on the gender and relative age on my new chickens. I was told they were 6 months old and no clue what the gender was. They are supposed to be a silkie cross.

Age can be difficult to guess once they are full-grown but I would certainly believe "6 months". As for gender, they both look like girls to me!
