Hello!
So, for the past week, I have been coming and going from a hospital to their nearby, extremely busy, parking garage. This garage has quite a number of pigeon families living all over in it. Lots of eggs are left abandoned, threatening to fall off the ledges onto the concrete floor, particularity on the 4th floor. But, a couple days ago, I noticed a small, dark baby pigeon (that had not grown into its beak yet, maybe around 6 inches long, on a ledge on the 4th floor) just pressed up against the corner of this garage. It no longer has a nest to be in, it was strewn all over the floor. I also noticed there were maybe two or three other pigeons on level, but they had their own little nest. Every time I come out from the hospital from visiting my brother, it's around 6-10 pm. (Twice around 10 pm) Still no parent in sight. So, my question is, has the baby been abandoned or something might have happened to it's parents? Or am I just missing the parents by a minute or two and the baby has been taken care of? Poor little guy looked so afraid...
