advice thoughts automatic water

Thoughts and advice on a 4 inch pvc automatic chicken water this is what ive come up with for a good chicken water 4 inch pvc pipe about 18 inches 4 inch cap and a plastic pan like a 8 inch plant bowl hole drilled in center with a toilet bowl float valve with a clean out at top still putting everything together a small hole to let just a little water out at time please let me know what you think please share your ideas and if youve made one like that please show me pics

All I have to say is that we bought an automatic water and that was the best thing we have ever done.
