Advice would be helpful!.... are these fertile?

Farmin Momma, that bottom pic looks almost exactly like many of my eggs :( I am going to candle all of them tonight, I will crack open some of the ones that don't look developed. Thank you for your input! If I do not see any evidence of any development and it looks like just a regular egg is it "ok" to contact the person that sold them to me to let them know they weren't fertile? I don't want a refund or anything, but would they want to know that? I hope it wasn't something I did that killed all of them, I was really excited about these babies... :( DirtCreature, I hope you have better luck!!

My eggs have been in the bator for 7 days now, I see no veins or anything else, pointy end down in turner , eggs are dark on big end when candled,, Got eggs from 3 different sellers, 30 total, I'm not taking them out till I'm 100% sure there's nothing in there, but not sure what to do if all are bad I payed a lot of money for these breeds. Even if just 1 hatched I'd be semi ok with it.

What color are your eggs? The two that I posted picks of are very light colored, like a peach skin color so they were very easy to see into. Now I have a whole bunch of dark eggs, blue, green, and darker brown and I can see that most of the egg is dark but there is no way I can see any veins. Those ones will not be tossed out unless they start to smell. I would not advise tossing those out just yet.
I am hoping for the best for all of us on our hatches.

I also would not toss them unless they start to smell. I just went through a hatch and I would have sworn I was getting no development and I just hatched out 17 out of 21 or so. So unless you feel there is no way they are developing I would hang on to them.

As far as telling the guy you bought them from, that I could not help you with. I would only decide depending on how receptive the seller seemed to be. But if he was just plain unwilling to replace your eggs, it does not sound like telling him would really do much good. Just find out so you know and then move on to your next batch when you get them. I am finding that a lot of people on craigslist ( I think I remember you said that is where you got them if not sorry) are not very nice or easy to work with when you are telling them you are unhappy about anything you got from them! I really REALLY hope things go good for you guys.

I hope your next batch of eggs fairs better...I hesitate to say if they are fertile or not, but if you open them up, I would be curious to know!

I just finished candling my eggs for what I am hoping is the final time. (They are blue eggs btw) I think I may have been "mis-reading" my eggs and not positioning the light properly. When I shine through what I think is the air pocket all but two of them are opaque. We start lockdown on 3/21 and I am going to finish out the process and see what happens. I almost cracked one open, but am afraid that if I am wrong I am going to kill the almost fully developed baby inside.

I am keeping notes, (my camera unfortunatly dosen't take very good pictures of this) so that I have references for next time I try. There is soooo much conflicting information out there it is hard to know if you are on the right track!

I am going to wait until day 15 to candle again, then if the look the same, im going to ope them. I will let you know! for sure....

Our eggs are light brown, so not super hard to see through, but not white either... Im pretty sure they are all bad, but i have a plan to keep them in the bator until day 15, candle them again and then if they look the same throw them out.
