Advice?

After doing everything I thought was right (temperature, gro gel, electrolytes, hygiene) I lost a 6 day old baby chick today. The chick was doing fine and today it stopped eating and drinking and was sleeping all the time. I gave it honey water mixture, but to no avail. The other 16 chicks seem to be thriving but I am so sad about this one and can't shake the feeling it is my fault. Worried the others will get sick and die. BTW, they were vaccinated, the chick didn't have sneezing or diarrhea. Any advice? Thank you

I am so sorry for your loss. As sad as it can be, these things do happen at times - the fact that you have 16 other chicks who are thriving under your care indicates that you are doing things right.
