Clipping their wings is the quickest. easiest and cheapest way to solve the problem.
Just take the first 6 or 7 feathers on the end of the wing that's a different color from the rest, that's the flight feathers, and cut off 1/2 to 2/3 their length. Cut the feathers all at 1 time, you don't have to cut each feather indivdually. You only need to do 1 wing.
It's easy, just grab the chicken, stretch her wing out and go SNIP with the scissors. Takes all of 3 seconds.
 


My run is about 4 ft high. If you clip the feathers on one wing of each bird it will help.

Make sure there is no blood in the shaft of the feather before you clip or your bird may bleed to death.

On some birds you may even have to clip a few secondary flight feathers.

One wing throws the bird off balance and is more effective than trimming equal amounts off both wings.
