Thank you @Eggsessive for your reply, we have just ordered new posts so we can put a roof on to stop the wild birds from interacting etc, we live in the countryside so plenty of wild birds, I have been getting my eggs to incubate off eBay, what are your thoughts? Should I get them vaccinated when they hatch?Mycoplasma lasts about 3 days in the environment after birds are gone. Other respiratory diseases are about the same or a bit longer in the poop. If it has been several weeks, you should be okay to get new healthy chicks, but beware that unless you get birds from a hatchery, you could always bring in a disease from breeders. You never know if they have had a problem with disease before. Wild and migrating birds also can bring in diseases. Sorry about your situation.
