Advise Please! Hatched Chicks KNOCKING Other Eggs in Bator?

i took mine out when they where a minute old there all a month and a week old now

The best way to tell is to "go in manually" through the vent. Can be 90-95% accurate.

I just don't know what I'm looking for in there!

I do it the tried and true way... put them in the coop, and let them sort it out for themselves! You'll know what's what in 6-8 weeks! LOL

The vent method should only be done by someone with experience slight pressure is applied to the abdominals. I don't reccomend trying this unless have an expert to guide you. You can damage your chicks.

I totally agree... that's something I have not, and will not try at this point. As I said, I just put em out and see what develops.
