Now that we actually have had some rain, you can really see how pasture reacts to the chicken tractor.
Here you can see how the chicken tractor got its name. Even these small birds really tear up
the ground. These are 5 week old white rock cockerels(soon to be capons) and my daughter's
EE pullets.
Now look at this:
You can see where the tractor was last week. You can see a nice dark green streak of grass.
When your lying in bed at 3 in the morning and everything is all quiet and you hear a soft
squeaking sound, don't worry it's just the grass growing.
