MissPrissy, what kind of soap do you make? I just started making soap, and am thrilled with the results! I am only making for myself right now, but I gave a few bars away and got huge compliments, because they were bars that were super-fatted and most sensitive skin users won't react with the all natural ingredients.

Anyways, just curious! I know Southern makes soap, and a few others on this board, as well. Looks like a once lost art is being revived!

I'm exhausted just reading that!

For injuries in the summer they do make a spray that I get at my local farm supply store to kill the fly eggs and larve. It works well with the cattle and as being new to chickens I have not had to worry about it with them but, I would definately check it out.
