Hello there! I'm from North Central KY. My family has just recently moved to start our homestead on just under 5 acres. We have our mainly indoor pets of 2 dogs & 1 cat, and have recently added 4 chickens. We've had the chickens for just over a month now. They are currently in a small coop/run, but we're working on an expansion for the run, & plan to free-range once we have adequate fencing. I'm not entirely sure on the chickens' breeds, so open to hear what other members think. I've been told they're all hens, so hopefully that is true! I'm open to hearing opinions on that as well. We typically get 1-2 eggs every day or two. Photos from left to right are: Alice [Black Sex Link?], June [Welsummer?], Roflhouse [Buff Orpington or Golden Comet?] & Felicia Ivy [Barred Rock?]. I think the left 2 are around 6 months old & the right 2 are around 1.5 years old.

Welcome to BYC! As an active member anyway, lol.

Roflhouse is a Buff Orpington. All are pullets. ;)

Thank you! Are all black sex links pullets as well? I thought that's what Google was telling me. However on another site, some people thought that Alice was a cockerel because of the prominent comb [also perhaps pointed neck feathers]. If that is even the correct breed..[?]

I'm not sure on the coloring of BSL.
Could you post a side view of her?

The first is a black sex link. Where are they from? Alice is definitely a pullet that is close to laying. She could lay any day now with a comb like that.
