I got all four of these from the same farmer at a local chicken swap. I think she may have indeed just started laying. I've seen her in the nesting box a bit lately & today there was even an egg under her, I just didn't know if it was hers! We ended up with a second egg today though, so there would seem to be a new layer in the bunch.The first is a black sex link. Where are they from? Alice is definitely a pullet that is close to laying. She could lay any day now with a comb like that.

Thanks for the feedback! After re-reading your first comment, I think I read it wrong the first time.. thought you were saying all Buff Orps were pullets, but now I think you meant all four of mine were pullets.Awesome! Definitely a pullet.![]()
