After Christmas I would like to do a block swap. Update first post

Quote:
Can you show it to us?

Here it is. It is sewn in the reverse color order than the one pictured in the swap, but it is the same block.

Same beginning with 3 7/8 by 15 1/2 strip of each color cut into four 3 7/8 inch squares, cut on diagonal and sewn together into eight 3 1/2 inch triangle squares.

The middle strip on this one is a 7 1/4 inch square of each color cut on the diagonal two times and then sewn into two 6 1/2 inch X squares.
The photo shows the block before the last row is added.

Hi NanaKat, could you please share the name of the block that you showed with the two 6" blocks in the middle?

It looks like one I used to have and have misplaced, probably in a huge tote of patterns, pattern books, etc.! If I try to dig for it I'll probably never see daylight again!

I love that brown fabric, BTW.

Thanks for joining.

We are up to 14. Only 6 more can be added. Hint, Hint.

goldenluver your mom's situation sounds almost identical too my friends. She had a pallet or something run just barely into her leg down close too the ankle and it was a tiny spot but it kept getting worse and worse. She has had several surgeries and even talked about amutation when she had her surgery about 6 weeks ago but he decided too try something else. Now he says if it doesn't heal he will probably amputate. They are transferring her mother too another hospital about 15 miles from here for some more kinds of test. I will pray for you and your mother and hope all gets better. I am so thankful your mom did not lose her leg.

I started cutting too, but I need to make a prototype first to see how the fabric works together......and I am in no rush to be first!!
