Where is Acre????

Ok SE, maybe next time, now wait what am I saying? This will be my one and only time.
I went to an auction last night and there was a quilt with the dressen plate you make, not sure if I spelled that right, but I bid on it up to $25.00 someone paid $55.00 for it and I know it was old. I'll have to put a pic of the one I got. It's old and needs some work but for $12.50 I couldn't pass it up. It's a log cabin.

OH ACRE WHERE ARE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: Went back and read....the block seems simple enough; just a bunch of half triangle blocks, right?

Someone remind me that I said this come about March 1st....!

I l-o-v-e star quilts.

Oh!! WHAT SIZE? or did I miss that somewhere?

I'm with SE. I really don't do "piece work" as I think it's called. I could make 20 patches and none of them would look alike or even be the same size. As close as I get it strip piecing, no angles involved there. Most of what I do is appliques or ragged edge piecing so I can hide my mistakes.

I'd join up with another swap this spring doing something like we did with the Village. Everybody do something different and with their preferred technique. I'm in. BUT not until spring!!
