After Waiting 3 Weeks I got DENIED!!!!!

I would hold back on posting his info. you could get bit. It may be hard to do but I wouldn't let some dip....s...t..ruin my holiday spirit that should be spent with family and friends. I know that doesn't even come close to what your going through but don't lose the good feelings that come from loved ones when you need it because you only go around once in life, there are no re-plays. He will get what's coming in the end.

I truly believe that you get what's due you in some way or another. You'll get what's due to you in the form of unemployment (APPEAL!!) and the dumb ex-boss will get "his" in some way, shape, or form. Attribute it to what you will - God, karma, FSM, evil silkies - but it's amazing how this happens.

People lie because unemployment will cost them money. That's how the system is set up... unfortunate, but true. So don't give up...keep appealing.

Get yourself a good lawyer who deals with Employment Law. Last job tried to screw hubby. He got a lawyer ($400 Paid with back pay from unemployment) S/he will help you file your claim and ask all the questions of your boss during the hearing. Trust me, they know how to get them to mess up!!

That is such a bummber, agree with the others though don't do anything to jeopdise your appeal. Make notes on the work that you did do on his website, and all the other things you did whilst you worked for him. Instruct a lawyer and get him to write to your ex-boss, bet he changes his mind as he won't want a lawsuit or the bad publicity. What goes around comes around and you know you are telling the truth........ to use my DH's words when we take on something that is wrong....

I already have an attorney and I will definitely appeal. This sorry excuse for a human is not going to get away with this.

I hope he get's his "just-desserts" for this. (If he's really "doing" things with other women, then maybe he'll get an STD or something.
