I think they are both sex-link hens.. I have had some sex-link hens with black on the ends of their tails.. and the comb on the second one isnt that big.. :] Good Luck!

That would be great news, but I guess, if they are 4 months or so old, I shouldn't have to wait more than another month to find out for sure. Hopefully. I was ready to give them away, but I think I'd better just wait and see.

How about what banjoejoe4783 said about both of them having saddle feathers growing in, so both being roos. Any thoughts?

Hello, I can't quite tell what they are from the photos but I do know that you will be able to sex most birds that age by looking at the hackle feathers.Hens hackle feathers are rounded and roosters hackle feathers are pointed. I have used this to successfully determine the sex of chickens many times and it might work for you.

I'm still pretty sure the first one is a hen.. and the second one doesn't seem to have the roo hackle feathers! But I'm still pretty new at this.. :]
