At what age would you recommend moving my two 4 week old chicks (1 male, 1 female) outside to live with my 5 females?
Its warming up here and is about 20C during the days (70F).
Also what age should they be moved to growers mash? At the moment they are on chick crumbs. Thanks!

It varies from chicken to chicken. What I like to do is move them outside into the coop at about 3 weeks and give them a heat lamp. They will move away from the heat lamp and begin roosting with the other chickens without the extra heat when they are ready. If you give them options, they will often let you know what they need.
As for the food, I don't remember, been a long time since I have had chicks. I think around 8 weeks?

Do you think they will be ok with my other girls, they are quite territorial and the chicks seem so small?
    Thanks
