What age do pointy feathers start showing up on Bantam white cochin cockerals? I have a bunch of Frizzles that I am 90% sure they are boys, but there are 2 that are smooth feathered. Both have red combs and small wattles, but neither is crowing nor do they have any pointy feathers. They will be 13 weeks old on Monday. The OEGB and the New Hampshire boys I got at the same time already have pointy hackles. What age should I be expecting the cochins to get the pointy feathers so I can be sure if they are boys or girls?
