Age range for chickens

What's the age range for gamefowl. People have told me 10 to 15 years. What's the oldest anyone has had a rooster or hen.

The average chicken probably lives 8 or 9 years.When kept in good condition they can live in up in the mid teens.

Well then I have many years remaining with my rooster.

Roosters that are fed layer feed do have a shorter life expectancy...
The excess calcium will eventually kill them.
