Age to deworm?

I'm a dam yankee(sort of..) and i say "wormed" also... So does most everyone else here.
Why?? Is it supposed ot be DEwormed?? (not that i care..)

Neither term is more "correct" than the other, however, I work in the Veterinary medical community and refer to deworming as deworming, not worming.

It is habit, so that is what I type and say in conversation.

Em, how weird! I was born in Florida, raised in NC. I struggled as a child, having two yankees for parents.
