Age when I can use Pine Shavings alone in their house

Hello, I have read a lot of post on this site about starting baby chicks but I could not tell for sure when I no longer needed to cover them. I don't know for sure how old the chicks were when I got them but I have had them for two weeks. Thank you for any help. Terri
