i have a new duckling i bought it around a month old. not sure if this is an aggressive behavior or not but every time i catch her to hold her and play with her she does this odd shaking of the head and lunges hitting me. anyone ever herd of this. my other duck used to do this. is this a aggressive behavior?!

and if anyone has any ideas on how to better bond with a new duck because she is truely scared of me still meanwhile my other duck and chicken jump in my lap and want to be pet. anyone know how to make her less afraid and more friendly? THANKS!!

Oh it's a no brainer,..food food and well food. I have 11 and they all do that nippy pull thing,..especially on my clothes and always untie my shoe laces,..some let me pat them, some like to sit on my lap,..some run the other way,..but all come play nice nice if I have food in my hands. If you want them to sit on you,..you gotta be sitting yourself with some food in your hand,..they eventually crawl up and sit in your lap,..the thing is,..it has to be their idea,..and food has to be the beginning coaxer.
