Aggressive behavior

Thanks all for your help. I took heed to Ddawn's recommendation and read 'Dealing with an Aggressive Rooster'. That article has simple and apparently proven ways to curb this behavior.
I'm going to muster the courage and take my place as the head roo! Wish me luck!

The lead roo knocks other roos off the hens when he is close by, is the reasoning behind not letting him mate in front of you. I won't run 20' to stop one, but if he's close by, he gets pushed off. It's a debatable tactic; some people say you can handle them fine without interfering with mating.

With my current two, one of which is obviously dominant, all I had to do was push the dominant one off once or twice. He doesn't try it around me any more. The other one won't come within 20' of me so he is safe, I ain't chasing him!

I really think the main thing is making it clear to them that you are not afraid of them. And soon you won't be.

Thanks so much Ddawn for your wisdom and knowledge. It does make sense to me now. I am still having some hesitation or fear I should say regarding this Rooster attacking me. I have been holding him the past couple of days for ten minutes at a stretch. It appears to be helping to some degree. I know I need to get over it and soon or I will lose control and power. Tomorrow morning I will attempt again to set the limits. Thanks again!
