Aggressive chick

Hello, we just picked up 6 new babies this past weekend and today one of our leghorns has started harassing all the other chicks to the point that they won’t go under our brooder plate, my little Rhode Island Red has an eye injury now. Any advice as to what to do? I’ve temporarily put it in time out back into the box it came in but still inside our brood box

I love that linked article. We had an eyeball pecker, though not as severe as your situation. Ended up putting homemade "art" and colorful magnets on the side of the brooder for them to peck at. They knocked it off after a day or two.
