Hey everyone. I just hatched some coturnix. 4 hatched: 1 male and 3 females. Anyone know what to do about my male he drives the females insane. Anyone know a good place in Colorado where I could buy some female only coturnix in the spring?? I want atleast 1-2 more for a better ratio. (1:4) or (1:5)
(Which is better)

Anyway, here’s some photos of him. He has some cool colors! He is a very pretty “soot” color with white on the bottom.

If it's possible to give them a larger enclosure and lots of cover, that might help the hens stay away from him until you can get more.

I have a quail the same color as that. Isnt that a mix of Pharaoh and Texas A&M?

He is also aggressive. Cause he attacks any males i put with him. So he has 6 hens to himself now. and the other 2 males are in the other cage with 9 hens.
