Aggressive Rooster?

I think I'm going to just have to get rid of him... He even kind of bullies the hens too.... I think he's just a bully. . I'm going to work on finding him a home, or maybe even the other alternative . STEWED
Yes please be rid of him, and consider sending the other 2 on their way too. I have read too many posts of little kids being the target of roosters, and the roosters will go for the face and eyes many times. I personally don't think it's worth the risk.

I want to try to keep one of them, cuz then can help keep the girls safe.... I know in terms of physically protecting the girls, that won't happen cuz of their size, but they can be a pretty good alarm of danger. I also know that not all roosters r bad... So I'm just trying to keep the best of the 3

but, some roosters are sweet as can be! you should see my Tango, he would NEVER hurt anyone! he doesn't even eat treats unless a pick him up and give them too him... he lets the girls have them all! he also let the ladies eat first every morning and the eats. he also is older than my pullets and has not even tried to breed them (they are too young..well not now maybe) I have one 5 year old hen and she barley ever accepts his dances! but yet he is content!

That is surprising! What breed is he?

This first idiot cockerel needs to be gone immediately, or at least penned away from your children, until he's gone. I wouldn't rehome him either; how will you explain that some other child is injured?
Make sure that these remaining cockerels aren't getting fed treats by hand, and that they move away from all of you when you are out there; they should respect your space! Walk 'through' them, and assist your children to do the same.
Beekissed has a very good article here about managing roosters, although your small children can't do any of it, really. Check the article anyway.
You may or may not have a cockerel who can stay with you this year; be ready to remove them all if necessary.

If it comes down to needing to get rid of all of them I will.... My children's safety is far more important but I am hoping that won't be necessary :fl
The other 2 I have not had any problem with. They clear way everytime any of us approach them and the middle one even reprimand the alpha when he tries to attack us. I've grown attached to the lower ranking roosters, but am prepared to have to rid them if they show any aggressive behavior as well:smack
