Aggressive rooster

I hatched my rooster out along with a female about 4 months ago. He's been a lovely boy and him and the female have been inseparable. Over the last week or so he's turned nasty, he constantly attacks her.
He's also started attacking the cat, my older ladies (that don't stand for it) and on occasions my husband.

Is this normal, part of the growing up process? I understand that he's probably going to try and assert his dominance but I'm worried he'll hurt someone
Is there anything I can do?

What exactly do you mean by attack with regard to the hens?
The senior hens as you note won't put up with any nonsense.
The cat can take care of itself......

Pull her feathers, pecks her, jumps on her. It's not the odd peck, he grabs hold and won't let go. My worry is that if he carries on that way he'll start attacking the older girls as he'll be bigger by then.
You would think the cat would be able to take care of itself but my chickens free range and he's cornered her in the work room and jumped on her too while pecking at her neck and head.

It sounds like normal cockerel behaviour as they become interested in mating.....apart from the cat....It's what they do.

Cockerels have to figure out proper mating which it sounds like your cockerel is doing. Hormones kicking in making this sweet bird what he was created for.
The cat could be seen as a threat to the cockerel and his hens.
Does your cat have claws? Usually one good swipe from a cat teaches any animal not to mess with it especially one that lands on the facial area.

Maybe he's just going through the aggresive faze that some young roosters go through, He might straighten up when he gets older.
