He has two a hen and rooster.
Also I agree with spending time with them. Last couple days I’ve been sitting in the run in a stool and just watching them. They come up and peck at my clothes and all but they’re just curious.
I pick up the one rooster of my 7 roosters that has a small problem with me and I hold him and pet him and let him go.
The flock is getting used to it now and it’s really interesting and calming to just sit there and watch them
What breed of rooster is he?He comes to me sideways and when he gets really close he runs towards me and jumps then in midair he uses his spur to attack me then sometimes i get hold of him he starts to bite and i can tell you that they are very powerful. If i don't wear a glove i start bleeding.
There is no big change in routine I set him and his hen free at 1:00 and bring him back in at 7:00. I sometimes get late for about 30 minutes.
So he's a fighting cock breed from Pakistan. He is a desi rooster
no he does not let me get close to his hen
I'm sorry, I really don't know what to suggest. Usually with the roosters I've had at about one and a half years old they have matured enough for me to know what sort of behavior I can expect.Desi chickens are very common in Pakistan but it is rare in other countries.
Yes the hen stayed with him from when he was new born
