aggressive silkies?

Ever had an aggressive silkie? My rooster is the most aggressive chicken I've ever had. Attacks my daughter anytime she's around and has drawn blood on me several times. Is that a silkie thing? Or just this one?

I'm no expert, but I am going to go out on a limb and say it's a rooster thing. I've heard of aggressive roosters before, and this sounds like a classic case. I have 5 Silkies, but they are still young. I have I think 2 roosters out of the 5. Once they mature, if either one of them are aggressive, it'll be Silkie Noodle Soup for lunch.

How old is your Silkie rooster?

I had a silkie rooster and he was very sweet until one day he turned on an a large EE rooster that he had been raised with from day one. They had to be separated to protect the EE and after that I wasn't able to go into the coop without being challenged by the silkie

Ive never ever had an aggressive silkie, all my 8 silkie roosters are so sweet. Pick them up, bath them, do whatever you like. Only ever had problems with a RIR rooster I brought from someone else but the roosters I've bred are all nice.
