Aggressive stray duck

I have a mated pair of ducks who have made their home in my backyard. They play in the Koi pond and stream and seemed very happy together but in the last week a stray duck has been coming and fighting with both male and female ducks, he picks mostly on the male though. He's a very large duck and now both ducks are hiding in the bushes. It breaks my heart to see them like this when they were so content and had established a routine. What can I do to discourage the bully duck from coming here? I've tried yelling and chasing him off and he will fly away and sometimes the male duck will chase him away but lately he is becoming more aggressive and I'm afraid one of the pair is going to be killed.

Is it legal to discharge a firearm at your location? Sometimes permanent removal is the lesser evil. If it’s against your personal beliefs or local laws you could contact a nuisance animal removal company.

We moved out to the country so we could have horses and other animals. Over the years the city council has decided to build some expensive homes and change the image of this small town. Now we've got the city going around measuring the trees to see if they hang over the road too far.
Your little chick is adorable I do hope she survives.
